About me

Thanks for visiting this site, stranger.  I am professional Flash, Flex and ActionScript developer, designer and animator and have been doing so for almost 10 years now.  Lately I have been holding up in Brooklyn, NY and I’m currently working as a Tech Lead / Lead Flash Developer for Ogilvy & Mather.

I’ve developed web sites, kiosks and rich media for the Marines, Nokia, Smirnoff, Chevron, Wheat Thins, Jaguar, Volkswagen, Merrill Lynch and really too many other to keep going with a list like this.

Way back almost before computers were invented (also known as the days of Flash 3), I started out as a web designer for a video game company. Luckily for me, I was really in the right place at the right time.  Being a web designer there, I got a chance to learn programming logic and concepts from old-school assembly and C++ programmers.  All I had to teach myself was Flash’s fancy new ECMA (JavaScript) based syntax.  So basically, those guys rocked.

Anyways, this is a just a place for me to publish little tips, tricks, tutorials and snippets of knowledge I learn along my journey into a bright utopia of actionscriptery actionscriptness.   Hope you find something here useful and feel free to comment on things.
